The wall development nears its end.

 Welcome to the website of Milford Primary School. We are a small, caring and friendly school located in the village of Milford, Derbyshire, between Duffield and Belper on the A6. Please have a look around our website to find out a bit more about us and what we do.

We are very excited about the 2011-12 academic year. Work is now underway lowering the wall that separates our playground and Chevin Road (more pictures on the 'News' page). This is a Derbyshire County Council/English Heritage project, and it has taken almost six years to agree the details of the scheme. We hope that the project will be completed by January. Immediately afterwards, we will be converting three of our undercrofts into a teaching area for Reception and Year 1, and upgrading the playground area in front. Following that, we hope to upgrade the entrance to our school, providing a secure entrance for children and adults, one which complies with modern safeguarding requirements.
