Milford Primary School

Milford Primary School is a small friendly school in the heart of Milford. We pride ourselves on the family ethos that runs throughout the school. We received our most recent OFSTED inspection in June 2008. This can be found by following the link on the homepage. As a staff and community, we are pleased with the findings of the team.

We have 3 mixed age classes: R/Y1/Y2,Y3/Y4 and Y5/Y6. Class sizes are relatively small, enabling us to ensure that all children are taught at a level appropriate to their ability.

Children enjoy coming to school ! They enjoy learning !

We are fortunate to have the support of the local community. Many former parents have kept in touch with the school and we have several grandparents helping out in classrooms as volunteers. We welcome parents in school and communicate well with them. Parents comment on the longevity of the friendships that children develop during their time at Milford. Children care for each other and play well together.

The children have the opportunity to go on several residential visits throughout Key Stage 2. These visits give the children the chance to develop independance, as well as experience new activities.
